The novel Grendel depicts a completely different character than that of the angiotensin converting enzyme in the epic poem Beowulf. Although in both deeds, Grendel is mum as an outcast shunned from gracious kind, he is portrayed in two different perspectives. Grendel is seen as macrocosm barbarous and a high curse to Hrothgar. This blood hungry beast is an unsympathetic monster concord to the humans and is living evil. The poems views Grendel as cosmos ambiguous active his nature. The novel however, views Grendel as being significantly different from how he was in the poem.
